With thematic ambitions that span from regressive laws to suffocating church culture, Cain’s debut album Preacher’s Daughter made her one of 2022’s most buzzed-about alternative artists.
Cain’s seamless vocals bring this thematically ambitious sound to life, while her stunning lyricism sets her leagues above her peers. She recently lent her sultry voice to Florence and the Machine’s ethereal track Morning Elvis, and will open for Boygenius on select UK tour dates later this year.

Wet Leg New Breakout UK Singers of 2023
Breakout UK Singers, After releasing their debut album, Wet Leg exploded on the music scene. The indie rock duo was nominated for several awards, includ best new act. They also performed at the 2023 BRIT Awards.
The duo consists of Rhian Teasdale and Hester Chambers. They were friends for a decade before forming Wet Leg. Their songs have a ’90s punk vibe. They are known for their quirky lyrics. They were awarded songwriters of the year by Ivor Novello in 2023.
Wet Leg’s debut single, Chaise Lounge, was a huge success. The song was about loneliness and escapism. It became popular on TikTok. The pair has also released merch. The band’s merch includes CDs, black vinyl, and t-shirts. The CDs contain the songs from the band’s debut album.
Lorde
Breakout UK Singers, Lorde, real name Ella Marija Lani Yelich-O’Connor, is the New Zealand born pop sensation who could sell out stadiums in a matter of minutes. It’s an impressive feat considering she only released her second album Melodrama a few months ago.
Her first album Pure Heroine brought her into the limelight with it’s number one chart success. It was a hugely successful album and one that continues to be recognisby critics.
It was in these intimate venues that she gathered her audience close – as if to whisper forbidden tales into their ears. Starting with the acoustic ‘Homemade Dynamite’ her lyrics speak of emotional jeopardy. Then onto ‘Team’ which sees her embrace all as fellow Kiwi’s trying to navigate the crazy paths of social sentiments.
Sade Adu
Helen Folasade Adu, more commonly known as Sade, is one of the most successful British artists of all time. She was born in Nigeria and moved to England with her mother and older brother after their parents split.
She quickly had record label interest and started selling out music venues.
Sade was the perfect example of how a person’s image and style could transcend genres. She is often compar to the likes of Marley and Dylan. Her vocal style is a combination of traditionally feminine and masculine characteristics that resulted in something entirely unique to her.

Shakira, 46, stepped out in a black satin cut-out dress that flashed her toned figure as she arrived at Chiltern Firehouse. She paired the outfit with a sheer lace top and her signature red lipstick.
She signed with Sony Music in 1990 and released her debut album Magia,[25] a collection of rock en espanol songs. It was followed by Pies Descalzos in 1995,[26] which mixed a variety of influences from different countries.
In 2006, she recorded the single “Hips Don’t Lie” with Wyclef Jean,[27] which was used as the closing ceremony song for the FIFA World Cup in Germany that same year. The song became a global hit and topped charts in 55 countries.[28] In the same year, she embarked on her Oral Fixation Tour.
